Thermik shows your paragliding flights as a 3D replay over real terrain. It reads the flight files you give it and keeps everything on your phone. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no crash reporting.
Only when you tap Download on a flight, Thermik fetches terrain, aerial imagery and place names for the area around that flight. These requests contain the map tiles or the rectangle covering the flight area, which reveals roughly where the flight took place. Like any web request, they also carry your IP address. These providers answer the request; Thermik sends them nothing else. Their own privacy policies govern their server logs. Downloaded tiles are kept on your phone so the flight works offline afterwards.
When you share a picture, video or file (GPX, KMZ, IGC), Thermik hands it to the app you choose in Android's share sheet. Nothing is sent unless you do this.
Downloaded terrain and imagery can be cleared in Settings → Storage. Uninstalling Thermik, or clearing its data in Android settings, deletes the logbook and everything else the app stored. Your original flight files in folders you imported are never changed or deleted.
Thermik is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.
